RIVEN PHOENIX 2,3,4,5

so for the past few days i've been very lazy, and i could only go through 4 videos, the lesson 3 is a revision of the lesson 2 using ink, instead of lead and also working without the construction lines...

I'm using the Rotring art pen(F) which is really good, i really wanted to work with a "permanent medium"

I'm also using the Andrew Loomis book as a guide for some proportions i cant find in the videos

INTRODUCTION

Well I am a medical student that loves painting and drawing....but I am not very good in figure drawing. So I am challenging myself to master the art of figure drawing. I have not had any formal training in art, but I have read a lot of books and I am still reading a lot of art books when ever I have the time.

Back to the purpose of the blog, I bought a set of videos titled "STRUCTURE OF MAN" by Riven Phoenix, and I have not come around going through the set, so now I am forcing myself to look through it, and also blog my way through it.

I also have some books on figure drawing by Andrew Loomis; "FIGURE DRAWING FOR ALL IT'S WORTH"

I hope it is a fun ride. I really do. :)

and i should add that this the drawing above is by Andrew Loomis...lol
